The life adventures and stories of Austin, TX pedicab driver, Chad.

So I've been riding quite a bit more lately and it's been fun. The weather, for the most part, has been very nice. UT football has started so you will see us out at the games. The local police have also been stepping up their authority as far as where we can ride around 6th and Trinity. I've seen a few pedicabbers get tickets for "riding behind the cones" on the south side of 6th on Trinity. So I would like to make a formal apology to all my past and future passengers for not being able to bring you to the door of your destination everytime. I like to think that I'm a pedicabber that goes all the way....all night.... And some of you fellow pedicabbers are givin me grief about not posting on my blog more often. Pooey on you. I'll see you out there and you know what goes on anyways. I am trying to get in contact with another pedicabber that ALWAYS has his digital camera with him and gets some rather nice shots. Someday I'll have a link for that. There's been a few stabbings downtown, one was some gangster thug kids, and down on RedRiver it was some "street people" having a fight. Kids, keep your knives at home.
On a more cheerful note, the Side Bar is a new hip spot to hit down near Red River and 7th. Trey and Sue are the nicest bartendars that own and run the place. Even the door guys are super nice. Good jukebox, new pool tables, darts, and soon an outdoor patio.
I'll be out tonight and Friday night and possisbly Sat night. So look for the "seabuscuit riding hat"...oh geez. laters kids.
