OK it's been a while. Super Bowl was crazy, but fun.
Capital Pedicab took 23 cabs to Houston for the week of the SuperBowl. I got there Thursday night before and worked in the rain and got to know the streets and routes. Friday constisted of about 12 hours of pedalling and Sat about 11 hours. By Sunday we were all pretty beat but still made it out to the stadium to do some more.
There were pedicabbers from all over, Las Vegas (the carnies), California, GreenBay, Tennesee, Arizona, Russia. Even with all the pedicabs we were still pretty busy. There seemed to be more Patriot fans in town and lots of Yankees in town. If I gave you a ride and this is the first time to my site, welcome and thanks for coming to Texas. During the actual game we ate some BBQ at Luthers right out side of Reliant stadium. I've got a few pictures to share at some point as well.
Stars sightings included Tara Reid, Emmit Smith (stiffed one of our guys), Michael Irving, Jerry Jones, actually the whole Dallas Cowboys bus was there, Snoop, and I'm sure some more that I didn't hear about and I saw one but I couldn't recognize who it was.
To wrap it up, I think we all had a good time. It was some hard pedaling, good thing Houston is flat, but it was a lot of fun and some of the stories are best heard by word of mouth and/or perhaps shouldn't even be told. You guys know what I'm talking about....
So weather permitting I'll be out pedicabbin for Valentines Day....yes no valentines for me :( So all you lonely ladies, if you take a ride with me be sure to give me sugah, I won't mind.
